With the rapid development of e-commerce, the logistics delivery system has become a critical factor in determining customer satisfaction. This study aims to compare the timeliness and accuracy of logistics delivery between agent platforms and traditional e-commerce shopping platforms.
Agent platforms, which act as intermediaries for purchasing goods from overseas or specialized markets, have gained significant popularity. On the other hand, traditional e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Alibaba, and eBay continue to dominate the online shopping landscape. Both types of platforms rely heavily on efficient logistics systems to meet customer expectations. This research explores the differences in delivery performance between these two types of platforms.
The study was conducted by analyzing data from 500 transactions on each type of platform over a six-month period. Key metrics include delivery time (from order confirmation to receipt) and accuracy (percentage of orders delivered without errors such as wrong items, damaged goods, or delays).

The longer delivery times observed in agent platforms can be attributed to the additional layer of intermediaries involved in the process. These platforms often require coordination between the agent, the seller, and international shipping companies, which increases the complexity and duration of delivery. Meanwhile, e-commerce platforms benefit from established logistics networks and direct control over the supply chain, enabling faster and more accurate deliveries.
This study highlights the importance of logistics efficiency in maintaining customer satisfaction. While agent platforms provide access to unique and specialized products, they lag behind traditional e-commerce platforms in terms of delivery timeliness and accuracy. Future improvements in logistics technology and partnerships could help agent platforms bridge this gap and enhance their competitiveness.
